, Operations in the Long Drive are giving satisfactory results, and, should the quartz maintain the quality which marks it at present, the manager, Mr Walker, anticipates coming in at the end of the month with a " snort," to use his own words, thSn which I know not of anymore expressive in my vocabulary. On Wednesday the plates were cleaned up; and 80 ounces of amalgam obtained.
