« Government Notices HAURAKI GOLDMINING DISTRICT, SPUTH. NOTICE UNDER SECTIONS 41 AND 84, GOLDMINING DISTRICTS ACT, J873. APPLICATION FOR LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT A WATER RACE. Warden's Office, Thames, April 28,1875. A PPLICATtON has been made by James jOJI. Mackt for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point on the Creek passing through the Prospectors' and Ajax. Claims, about the point where it crosses the Prospectors' northern boundary, and receiving the discharge from the three'races previously applied for from the Creek east of the Prospectors' in its course, and terminating at a point, on the sifieling about two miles below the Prospectors' northern boundary. The length of such Race^ is 2 miles or ihereabouts, and its intended course is eastward of north. The mean breadth and depih of such Eace is 2 feet by 1 foot. It is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of water, ard the number of sluice-heads it ia intended to appropriate is five. ' NOTICE is therefore given, that on the Bth day of June, 1875, a License will be granted to the said James Macky for the above described Water Bace, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. APPL-ICATION TO FORMA WATER RACE;/ Warden's Office, Thames, April 28,1875. A PPLTCATION has been made by J. J\. B. Beeche for a LICENSE to construct a Water Kace for mining purposes commencing at a point above the -waterfall on the Creek eastward of the Prospectors' Claim, Tairua, and terminating at a paint about two (2) miles below, as shown on plan lodged in Warden's Office. The lengthof such race is two miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is about north. The mean depth and breadth of such Bace is about 2 feet by 3 foot. It is capable of carrying five sluiceheads of water, and the number of sluice- , heads it is intended to appropriate is five. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the Bth day of June, 1875, a License will be granted to the said John B. A PPLICATION has been made by jt\..WlixlAM Ciimo for a LICENSE to construct a Water Eace for mining purposes, commencing at a point on Puriri Creek near its source, taking in water of eastern tributary on its course at point of intersection, and terminating at a point three quarters of a mile down the said Creek. .Points of commencement and termination marked with pegs marked M. O. The length of such race is three-quarters of a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is south of west. The mean depth and breadth of such Bace is 1 foot by two feet, and it is capable of carrying five sluice heads of water, and the number of I sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is five. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the Bth day of June, 1875, a License will fee , granted to the said Wilham Climo for the ' above-described Water Bace, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than, leven clear days before that dnte.
