GUDGEON V. WILSON.
I This was a claim of £37, for commission. The case was adjourned from yesterday. „ Mr Tyler for plaintiff; Mr Macdonrld for defendant. *• ' ' The commission claimed was for the sale of a piece of land which forms the addition to the Cemetery, having been a paddock belonging, to JMCrjWilson, defendant. Itappcared that negotiations had at first been opened by Mr. Gudgeon with the Mayor; but Mr Wilson denied having commissioned him at all, and subsequently sold the land himself,' through. Mr. Sheehan to the Provincial Government. ' Mr. Tyler' wished to produce as evi-' dence , cortain . telegrams (copies o£-*ithe originals) -which had passed between the^ parties ; but Mr Maodouald objected to copies as evidence. His Worship sup^ ported the objection, and Mr. Tyler (wbrb looked to the telegrams to prove his case)' accepted a nonsuit, with costs, £9 17s. The Court then adjourned. !
