APPLICATION FOR LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT A WATER RACE. Warden's Office, Thames, April 23,1875, A PPLICATfON has been made by Jamie ,/\ Mackt for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commen-c-ng at a po;nt on the Creek passing through the Prospectors' and Ajax Claias, about the point where it crosses the Prospectors' northern boundary, and receiving tko discharge i from the three races previously applied for from the Creek east of the Prospectors' in iti course, and terminating at a point on the sideling about two miles below the Prospectors' northern boundary. The length of such Rice is 2 miles or thereabouts, and its intended -course is eastward of north. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is 2 feet by 1 foot. It is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of water, ard the number of Bluice-hoads it is intended to appropriate is live. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the Bth day of June, 1875, a License will bo granted to the said Jakes Mack? for the above described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less, t lift a seven clear days before that date. Warden's Office, Thames, April 28,1875. APPLICATION has bien made by J. B. Bsechb for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes conmencing at a point abore the waterfall on the Creek eastward of the Prospectors' Claim, jTairua, and termineting at a point about two (2) miles below, as shown on plan lodged in Warden's Office. The length of such race is two miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is about north. The mean depth -and breadth of such Race is about 2 feet by 3 foot. It is capable of carrying five sluiceheads of water, and the number of sluice* heads it is intended to appropriate is five. : NOTICE is therefore given, that on the Bth day of June, 1875, a License will be granted to the said Johk B. Beeohe for the above* described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than Bcven clear days before tbat date. I W.
