QUEEN OF THE MAY.

This; company are still driving on the course of the main reef, and get a good quantity of crushing stuff to hand. At the Una Battery, where crushing is still being carried on, there have been engaged an additional five head of stampers, which make the total force 20 head. From the last return given by the Queen -of the May, it may be supposed that, with good crushing power, the quartz will pay well. During the coming winter season the position of the company should be much improved.
