One rainy morning, Just for a lark, I jumped and •tamped On my new Noah's Ark ; ; I crushed an eluphan*, Smashed a gnu, And mapped a samel Clean m two; I finished the wolf 'With half iryin', And wild hyena :•.'■ =Atfd roaring liion: ; : ; I knocked down Ham, ;■■'■■'■ \ And Japbet, too, An* cracked th« lega Of the kangaroo! ; I finished, hesidee, : j Two pigs and a doDkey, JIA I A Polar bear, ; ; Opossuwj *Bd monkey: , • Also the lions, .;;Tigers and cats, And dromedariea r Amd tiny rats—r j . . • There wasn't a thing |;",. That didn't fe«l f : Sooner or latt-r, F Thf weight o' my heel; : I felt as grand As grat d could be — But, oh, the whipping My mammy gave me!
