Cook for a LICENSE to construct ta Water Race for rninitag purposes, commencing at a, point about two miles up the left harifi branch of the Puriri Crsek, and terminating on the sideling of the spur, northward of the junction of the two branches. The length of such race is two miles'and a half, or thereabouts : and its intended course is south-Fouth-west. The length of such Race being one mile and a half, or thereabouts ; its intended course is northward and eastward. ' Warden's Office, Thamee, April 14,1875. A PPLICATION has been made by John XX B. Beeche for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes conmencing at a point on the firat main Creek east of the Prospectors' Claim, known as Neeves' Creek, Tairua, marked A on plan, and terminating aba point marked B on said plan, being about quarter of a mile from the eastern boundary of the Prospectors* Claim. The length of such race is 500 yards or thereabout b, and its intended course iB northward and eastward. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is about 8 feet by 3 feet. It is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice-beads which it is prop33ed to appropriate is five. ; KOTlCEistherefore given, that on the 27th day of Mi.y, 1875, a License will be granted to the said Johk B.
