Beeche for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes conmencing at a point on the firat main Creek east of the Prospectors' Claim, known as Neeves' Creek, Tairua, marked A on plan, and terminating aba point marked B on said plan, being about quarter of a mile from the eastern boundary of the Prospectors* Claim. The length of such race is 500 yards or thereabout b, and its intended course iB northward and eastward. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is about 8 feet by 3 feet. It is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice-beads which it is prop33ed to appropriate is five. ; KOTlCEistherefore given, that on the 27th day of Mi.y, 1875, a License will be granted to the said Johk B.
