Wx hare received New Zealand Gazettes Nos. 19 and 20, published respectively on the Ist and 3rd April. The name of the Bey. James McKee, Free Church of Scotland, has Veen gazetted as an Officiating Minister under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1854. Mb Puxisine, auctioneer, sold 400 Una shares to day at noon, at prices ranging'from 2s 2d to 2s Bd. The shares had been forfeited by reason of non-payment of calls. The Lincoln Castle G .M.Co. WBs sold to-day by Mr James Craig. The Alburnia Company were the purchasers—price £43 The new field at the Tairua is causing consideiable excitement; in fact, it is absorbing all attention at preieat, and Ohiaemuriis for the nonce forgotten. The orner audits vicinity was alive -with people so early as eigitt o'clock this morning, and it was perfectly evident that something more than ordinary was occasioning the lively interest which appeared to be felt. Tairua was the subject. The announcement of its existence as a field of gold has given quite a new complexion to the feelings of the majority. Hope, that harbinger of light, has once more gained an ascendency, and those who have ceased to believe in Ohinemuri, are willing to turn to the new source of interest and picture pleasant prospects of approaching prosperity. It is notified that three or more Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand will sit at Wellington on Wednesday, 19th May, t:o hear and determine petitions for the dissolution or for sentence of nullity of marriage, under section 60 of "The Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867," and also, for'the despatch of all other buciness accruing under the said Act.
