j^ E W ZEALAND GOVEBNMENT LIFE INSURANCE. I—The Government Life Insurance Department issues all desirable fo mi of Policies. The Payment of every Policy is guaranteed ly the Colony. Participation in Profits is authoriced by the Legit* lature to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. 3-No Policy or Medical Fees charged. 4-All Policies are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the lull extent ot their ralue, .under a Bpecwl; regulation pro Tiding for the continuance in force of eyery Policy for the original atnount, unt?l the Burrender-y«lue of the Policy is ex* haußted in payment of premiums. 5-Absolute Security from Loss. —Icßurew, after haring p >id three fuil annual premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender rulue of not Jess than 40 per cent, of the paid up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ere not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount £o the premiums paid, sad often much in excess. 6—Thirty days of grace «« allowed on all Beneival Prtnunmß. 7-Liberal conditions •• to trayel. ling and residence. 8-Policies protected from Bankruptcy* —An Insurance Policy>ffeoted by the Insured, bond fide on his ownlife, is protected from bankruptcy or inpolyenf y laws to a certaia amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after it has endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after fir* years, to. £600; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection applies;only inufayour of the personal representatire of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Policies, dippoee of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated abore. 10—Settlement Policies— Policies eff■ cted fur the benefit of the wife and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums art payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c., dispensed witii —When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims* and no discount charged.
