SALE OF TAILINGS.

The Manukau tailings and pyrites were sold to-iay at noon, by Mr James Craig, auctioneer. The only bidders present were, Messrs Brown, Ferry, and Masters. The tailings were put up first, and were eventually knocked down to Mr John Brown, at Is 6d per ton. Mr Masters secured the pyrites at £3 5s for the lot.
