A PPLTCATION lias been made by John A McCabe for a License to Construct a Water Race for Mining Purposes, commencing at a point near the Culvert on Waiotahi Creek marked A on plan lodged with said application, and terminating at Queen of Beauty Battery markt d B on said plan. The length of such- Race is one hundred yards or. thereabouts, and its intended course is along the creek. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is 12 inches by 9 inches. It is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water,,and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is Two. Notice is therefore given that on the 13th day of April, 1875, a Lice-Be will be granted to the said John M'Cabe for tne above described Water Race, unless valid objection ba in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this Offica not lees than seven clear days before that date.
