There is very little new to report from these work s. 'Sulking' has been proceeded with as rapidly as the hard nature of the ground will admit. Since the big lift was put down there has been no difficulty experienced in the way of water, and the shaft is fortunately free from gas, r 'JCorday was occupied* in changing-bucketsl" ■
