He pleaded guflty, and was fined 10s, or 24 hours' imprisonment. BBEACH OF THE PEACE, John Toorey and Thomas H. Edwards were charged with unlawfully committing . a breach *>f the peace by fighting in Albert street, Grahamstown, on the 17th Feb. Defendant pleaded guilty. -. Mr Bullen said he would like to make •enquires into this matter, as he believed ' the quarrel originated out of some domestic trouble, the prisoner Toovey being , accused of having something to do with taking Edwards'wiVaway. He believed Toovey was the aggressor. It would take a day to make the necessary enauiriep, and he would ask that Toovey be remanded till to-morrow. Remanded accordingly, Edwards being discharged.
