Mr Dey, a partner in the firm of Mennie and Dey, confectioners, met witti ' an accident this morning which might.! hare prored tery s«rious. It Was sauV ciently painful, howerer, if not strious. It appears that Mr Dey was bathing at the settlement,', in.'deep water, when he; suadenly struck himself against a snag,: -t the consequence of which was'an ugly cat' in this abdomen.
