To-day the firing did not commence until after breakfast, when was commenced the— TENTH MATCH, , Mabesmen's Pbizes. (1.) Open to all qualified Representatives (including Cavalry) who have become marksmen during the Volunteer year ending 31st March, 1875. (2.) Colonial Representatives who are marksmen (as provided in. foregoing; rule) must be furnished with certificate to that effect from the Officer Commanding the District to which they belong. (3.); Ranges, 700 and 800 yards. (3.) Seven! shots at each range. (5) Targets,! Bx6 feet; centre, 6 x 4 feet; bull'seye, 3x2 feet. ; Range Phizes. —Highest scorer at 700] yards, £2; highest icorer at 800 yards, £2. Match Pbizbs. —Ist prize, £6; 2nd prize, £5 ; 3rd prize, £3; •
The 800 yards match of the above not completed. The All-Comers' Match commences at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning. The Hon. Sir Donald McLean has to be telegraphed to, asking him to give £10. towards prizes for the match, English, Irish, Scotch and Colonial, to come off on Saturday. The small bore match will come off this afternoon on completion of the Marksmen's last range.
