A PPLICATION has been made by iJL Robert Comer on bebalf of the Mofuiataiari Gold Mining Company, Registered, for a LICENSE to construct a WATER RACE for mining purposes, commencing afc a point, mark A oa Boundary Creek, and led by three inch pipes along the Beach (20) twenty feet from outside of present Tararu Road, and terminating at a point marked B on Imperial Crown Battery site, as shown on plan lodged therewith. Tee length of such Race is 4150 feet, or thereabouts ; its intended courss is, aa shown on said j the mean breadth and depth of each. Race ia j it is capable of carrying Two sluice heads of water, and the mimbrr of sluice heads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is Two. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 9th day of Frebruary, 1875, a License will be granted to the said Moanataiari Gold Mining Company, Registered, for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date.
