THE CRICKET MATCH.
The match, eleven of the Thames Club against eleven Auckland Hauhaus, to which reference was made in Saturday's issue, was unfinished. The total made by our risitors was 95 runs, when an adjournment was made t« lunch provided in the pavilion by Mr 0. Young of the Queen s Hotel. It was at this time that the thunder showers commenced to fall, and as they increased in violence and intensity it was found impossible to play any more. Mr Bees made a fine score of 42 (we credited him with 43 on Saturday); Buckland, Masefield and Swanson also made respectable scores, two of them being double figures. Messrs Wright and Lublin acted as umpires, but their duties were comparatively light, The following is the analysis of the play :— HA.UHA.trs' Inkikgs.
