CROWN-PRINCE.
The work in this mine is being pushed ahead vigorously under the able management of Mr Beach. Stoping is being carried on on the No. 2 reef in Nos. 1, 2,. 3, and 4 blocks, and although this level has been worked upon for the last six months, there yet remains as much again to be worked before the blocks are exhausted. The manager is also prospecting tile {cross-cut in a westerly^ direction, and it is purposed to continue it until the Prince Imperial ;boundary.is made. The drive is now in 50 feet. In consequence of the unfavorable weather, sinking on the specimen leader has been discontinued, there being a large accumulation of gas in the mine, lhe company have discontinued crushing, and will not recommence until after the holidays. .
