HOLLOWAY'S MEDICINES.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sib, —I take leave to inform you thai Messrs Myers and Solomon of Sydney, advise me, tinder date 31s fc July, 1874, that some cases of pills labelled " Holloway's Piils, New York," have been sold in their city by auction to hawkers and others. They have also sent me a box of the pills which are spurious imitations of mine. My medicines are neither made nor sold in any part of the United States. In the Melbourne Argus of June 26th, 1874 is a letter signed " Percy L. Hardnage," (a copy of which I enclose) in which he calls himself my authorised travelling agent. This in false, as I neither know the man nor have I had correspondence with him. It therefore may be that he is travelling for the purr pose of disposing of the spurious make of medicines to which Messrs Myers and Solomon have been pleased to call my attention. —I am, &c.
Thomas Hollowat.
