(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) . Sib,—l know nothing of the object of the meeting of members of the Public School Committees, which according to an advertisement signed "A. Porter," in the Advertiser, is to be held on Wednesday evening next. But I think it would have been more respectful had the object of the meeting been stated, and the members requested to. attend. A Membek of a Schoolj Commutes.
