She will assist at dinner or evening parties—by her grace, her wit and beauty, contribute to the entertainment of guests, and ■he will do everything in the highest style of art—-but she demands handsome compensatictn. ' A witty moralist says that " many a man thinks it's virtue that keeps him from turning rascal, when it's only a full Stomach. One should be careful, and not mistake potatoei for principles."
