THIS DAY'S SHOOTING.
Competition firing was resumed this morning. "We give below a report of the scores. It will be noticed that only two competitors have succeeded in attaining the requisite score for qualification, although Corporal Shepperd and Volunteer Hicks only missed it by one, each making a score of 79. The following is a list giving totals of the points made at the different ranges :— Mobnisg Squad. , Thames rifle bangebs. Volunteer Penton . . .93 Corporal Shepperd . . .79 Volunteer Hicks . . ..79 Volunteer Moara . . . 59 NO. 3 HAUBAKI BIFLE VOLUKTEEKS. Grant '. 87 Sergeant Grant's shooting at the first two ranges has scarcely ever been equalled on the Thames, beginning with one centr3 and eleven" consecutive bull'seyes.
