THIS DAY. (Before W. Fbaseb, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Mary Brennan was charged with having been drunk and incapable in Pollen-street> Shortland, on the 17th instant. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was .fined 10s and costs, or ?A hours' imprisonment. ALLEGED ASBAT7LT. Edwin Binney was charged with that he did unlawfully assault one Frederick A. Pulleiiie, by seizing him by the collar and throwing him down, on the 13th instant. Defendant made no appearance. Mr. Macdonald said he had received a communication from defendant's solicitor accepting an adjournment till Thursday —he knew nothing further.. ; The case was adjourned ti 1! Thursday the 19th instant. The Court adjourned.
