"William Adcoek was charged with that he did commit a breach of Bye-law JNb. 1 Section 42 of Borough of Thames by allowing-a cow to run at large on an unincloaed piece of land off Pollen-street, Thames. Defendant pleaded guilty, but said he had tied the cow with a very thick rope, which had been cut in half. Fined 2s 6d and costs.
