; London, Oct. 8. Count Arnim is kept closely confined. His release has been refused. The mis* sing documents which caused his'arrest belong to the archives of the Paris Embassy. The Count denies all knowledge of the greater portion of the documents, but claims the remainder as private property. The matter has caused considerable excitement in official circles.
