Edward Scott was charged with, having been drunk and incapable in Pollen-street, Shortknd, on the 12th instant at 9.45 p.m. Defendant said he had been drunk. Fined 10s and costs.
William Wilkinson was charged with having been in a similar state in Pollenstreet, Grahamstown, on the 12th instant, at 11 p.m. _ Defendant pleaded guilty. His Worship said he should have to send defendant to Mount Eden again if he did not discontinue the practice-—so many previous convictions were recorded against him.
Fined 20s, or 48 hours' imprisonment.
