THAMES HOSPITAL COMMITEE.

The regular monthly meeting of the Thames Hospital Committee was held last evening at the Salutation Hotel, Mary-street. There were present:—Mr. W. Kowe (President), Hers. J. Hill, J. Crump, Father Lonnergan, and V. Lush, and Messrs. Macnab, Bagnall, Gudgeon, Frater, Mcllhone, Sims, McDonald, McCullough, Renshaw, Cox, and Power. MINUTES AND TBEASUBEB'S BEPORT. The minutes of the last monthly and special meetings were read and confirmed, after which the., treasurer's report was read as follows:—To balance, £208 13s; subscription account, £29 2s 3d; donation account, 16s 7d; patients' charges account, £1 ss. By salaries, £51 15s 4d ; maintenance, £i) 59s 7d; medical comforts, £15 ss; drugs, £3 16s 6d ; commission, £1 4s 6d; balance at bank, £99 17s lOd ; in hand, £1 18s 9d. Liabilities—salaries, £61 Os 4d; general accounts, £50 17s Bd. Assets—cash balance, £1.01 16s 7d ; Provincial Government subsidy due, £250—' leaving a balance in farour of the institution, if the Government subsidy is paid in, of £236 18s 7d. The accounts for the past month wers read over, and ordered to be paid. ~ OTHER BBPOBT3; The reports of the. House Committee and Surgeon were subsequently read, *nd various matters in them touching the working of the domestic arrangements of the Hospital discussed. BBMUNKBATION. It was unanimously agreed as it had been previously determined oh, that Mr. Dunn, of the Salutation Hotel, should be remunerated with the sum of two guineas for the use of the room which he had placed at the disposal of the Committee. HOUSE COMMITTEE. In place of retiring members the -Rev. V. Lush and Mr T. W". Gudgeon were placed on the House Committee for the ensuing month.
