Mary Carmin was charged on suspicion of Being of unsound mind, at Shortland, on the 24th instant. Dra. Lethbndge and Eiilgour were m -attendance to examine the woman. oumeS Kilgour deposed that he had seen the woman, considered she was of unsound "mind, and a fit subject for the Lunatic Asylum. .■• The certificates of the medical gentler yjßfißL were put in, and His Worship made troTusrial order. CIVIL SIDE.
J. TOTTNG V. JAMES JOHNSTONB. This was a claim of £517s 3d for goods. Defendant made no appearance. Daniel Orme, who appeared for plaintiff, was examined, and judgment was giren for the amount claimed and costs.
ADJOURNED CASE. Richard Onyon t. George Dalziel. A claim of £2 Os Id for freight. On the application of Mr. Tyler the case was adiourned for a week. The Court adjourned.
