■ The Golden Crown Company crushed during the week 54 tons of quafe chiefly from the hanging wall leader, for a yield ot 43 ounces 12dwts. melted gold The manager reports having got through the No, 2 lode in the bottom or 17Q feet level, and commenced to drive south on the footwall, which will ere long branch off, and make into a separate body of stone corresponding with the Manukau lode.
