THE OLD WHAU,

/ Tho Old Whau Company have cleaned /up, and banked two hundred and one ounces of molted gold from about two hundred lons of stone crushed at their own mill. A winze that had been sunk aome time, and filled with., sludge, has been cleaned out, and will be again worked. I know that good gold was left in the bottom of this winze, and the run is most likely to bo picked up again. The two hundred and one ounces banked today is not quite so much as was expected.
