The new Highway Board is working well. It is taking action for utilising prison labor. Levels of the town" are to be taken, and the wha^f repaired. New offices have been obtained for Board meetings. ' The Board work together. It has communicated with the Mayor of Grahametown and the Chairman of the Cambridge Board urging mutual action in endeavoring to secure the immediate formation of the Tauranga and Thames and Cambridge lines of road. The Times suggests the advisibility of sinking artesian wells and erecting flour mills.
