THE LONG DRIVE.

The stuff from the Long Drive is improving in quality. A large parcel of amalgam was lodged at the Bank of New Zealand on Saturday last; since then about 70 ounces have accumulated from the crushing by 6 head of stamps. The stuff is taken from what is called the beach level, and is run direct to the mill.
