DEATH OF MR. D. J. O'KEEFFE.

It is with extreme regret that we have to announce the death of Mr. D. J. O'Keeffe, which took place in Auckland this morning. Mr. O'KeefFe leaves a widow and six children. Mr. O'Keeffe Tras an active, energetic man of business, and as a pioneer of the Thames contributed in a great measure to the success of the field in the early days. As a husband and father he wa3 kind and indulgent to a degree, and his loss will be keenly felt by his sorrowing widow md family, who will, however, have the sympathy of the public in their bereavement The funeral *f the deceased gentleman will take place on Monday in Auckland. ,
