In the absence of Captain Fraser, R.M., Mr. Brown in> the chair. ALBION HOLES. In this case the license bad been refused to Sophia Hibble. Mr Ehrenfried said he was the owner of the property, and although,he knew the nature of the offence for which she was convicted, he was not aware that it was serious. The refusal of granting the license would entail a serious loss to him as owner; and he would sak that the Commissioners would substitute the name of John Winchcombe. Tne Bench said the case had already been disposed of, and refused the license. Mr. Murdock said he was the owner of the property, and stood in the same light as Mr. -Khrenfried did in respect of the Albion Hotel, and he hoped the Bench would grant the license to him.

Mr. Bullen said he had no objection to the granting of the license to Mr. Mur doch, provided that applicant lived on the premises. The Bench said they should require some proof that property belonged to him. . *
