In the Provincial Councjl,last night; an ordinance introducedby•: the President of Executive for giving the-Superinten-dent power to dismiss the .Executive" during any session of. the . Provincial Council was thrown out by 19 to 17. j A resolution was carried to the. effect that intending travellers by railway be allowed to purchase ;tickets'during any time of the day, either at the railway stations' or at certain specified places in various centres of population, such tickets to be only available: on the day of issue. An'brd*nance introduced by the President of the Executiro^ for making- .over-^all-fee* I*e-~ ceived in municipalities on account of the dog tax, publicans? and auctioneers' licenses to the respective municipalities in which they are received, was thrown put by 19 to 14 - ■-■ ,#;
