Correspondence.

MILITAKY DjUCOBATIONS.

(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)

Sir, —Being an old soldier I am given to taking notice of things military. On Monday last a peculiar gold medal, with blue centre, worn by a sergeant in the Thames Scottish, caught my eye, and, as I never saw a decoration like it before, I should feel obliged by your informing me what it is and what worn for.

I am, &c, f - CvriioaiTX.
