Dumedin, This day. The Guardian says it has been requested to state that the telegrams published by the Times, in reference to Judges Ward and Chapman were grossly inaccurate.
In the Provincial Council last night there was a long debate on Fish's motion, for the abolition of High "Schools. The motion was negatived by a majority of thirteen.
