Mr. Sims, the company's manager, has to-day placed men, on to work opening out on a lode cut on one of the Pumping Association's drives at the 400 ft. level. The lode is about 20 feet east of the shaft, arid latterly gave on a trial crushing 9 dwfcs to the ton.
