Faun, Eiq, 8.M.) , PETTY HBCENY. !John Donovan and Hugh'Muir, two lads, were charged with having stolen from the toll-house of Curtis' Wharf one opera glass, the property of Bichard May. j Mr Bullen said the accused had been arrested yesterday, and he would have to ask for a remand owing to the absence of ah important witness. Possibly the inlormation would have to be amended. ■ Remanded till the 23rd instant (tomorrow),. I■''■ y' j - ' ;"A. NUISANCE. -■'••■•:'' : ■'■■'•! j Mrs Beaty, for allowing a nuisance to exist on her premises in Eplleston-street, Shortland, was fined ss, and costs. The Court adjourned.
