Home And Abroad Officers Promoted (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. June 3. Appointments and promotions in the New Zealand Military Forces Gazetted to-night include the following: Temporary Staff Temp. Captain R. Morrison is appointed general staff officer, second grade (training). New Zealand Armoured Corps. Trades Training, Army Headquarters, and granted the temporary rank of Major. Tep. Captain L. W. Reanney is appointed a brigade major in the Northern Military 7 District fortress area. Territorial Force New Zealand Artillery—Captain C. F. Crosbie, of an anti-tank battery 7, to temporary major; Temp. Captain D. K. Dunbar is granted the temporary 7 rank of major while employed as second in command of a light antiaircraft regiment. Corps of New Zealand Engineers— Temp. Captain P. B. Bryden to be temporary major. Waikato Regiment—Temp. Major T. V. Fitzpatrick is granted the temporary rank of lieut.-colonel while temporarily in command of a battalion. Canterbury 7 Regiment—Temp. Captain M. C. Sidford to be major. .Otago Regiment—Temp. Captain W. M. Angus to be temporary major. New Zealand Army Service Corps— Temp. Captain J. C. Lyne to be temporary major. New Zealand Medical Corps—Temp. Major F. O. Bennett, commanding a field ambulance, to be temporary lieutenant-colonel. Second N.Z.E.F., Middle East Section New Zealand Engineers—Temp. Major C. F. Skinner to be Major. New Zealand Artillery—Major D. A. Carty to be temporary lieut.-colonel while commanding a regiment. New Zealand Infantry—Major D. G. Steele to be temporary lieut.-colonel while commanding a battalion. Captain J. H. Seal to be temporary major while commanding a company. Captain B. R. Bullot to be temporary major while employed as G.S.O. (2) Headquarters, Second N.Z.E.F. Pacific Section Captain R. P. Kennedy 7 to be major. New Zealand Infantry—Captain S. L. Moses to be major. New 7 Zealand Army 7 Nursing Service —Sister J. T. Sekton to be temporary charge sister while employed as submatron of a general hospital.
It is also announced that Lieut.Colonel F. L. H. Davis. Pacific Section, is appointed to command a battalion.
