Press speculations from Australia have now embraced all eligible members of the Royal Family in Australia’s invitation to officially open Parliament at Canberra, adding thnt the nature of the reply will determine the date of the ceremony. The Colonial Office is unaware of any invitation. It states that it is usual to fix the date first and then issue invitations, but it has received no communication. It is unofficially suggested that it might be convenient for Mr Bruce to confer with Colonel Amery and Mr Baldwin on the matter when attending the Imperial conference
