“THE ASHES.”
AUSTRALIANS IN LONDON. “ HARD .TEAM TO BEAT.” By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Australian anil N.Z. Cable Association. Received April 11, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 11.
C. E. Kelleway has arrived. Writing- in the “Sunday Express,” lie said he was most surprised to read Clem Hill’s article discussing the method of tile selection of the Australian team. lie was surely indiscreet. All sportsmen regard the selection meetings as strictly confidential.
Kelleway adds that the team had an exceptionally lazy time during the voyage, and will reach England absolutely fit and well. He personally thought the Australians .hoiild do their best to adapt themselves early to the different conditions under which they will be playing, if they are to retain the ashes. They will be a hard team to beat, but not nearly so hard as was the case during the previous tests.
