(Received April 11, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, April IF The Labour Conference, alter a beared and lengthy discussion, decided to expel live' 1 members of the Leg Mature Council, Messrs Lyons, Kelly, Akhursl, Smith, and Murray, from tho Labour movement, for allegedly betraying the workers, in connection with the- movement for the Abolition of the Upper House. Summoned to appear before the Conference, none of the expelled members put in an appearance. Tim .Conference also decided to instruct the Executive Unit Messrs Harley, Brainstem and Hockley, who were expelled' in connection with the late ballot box .scandals, should not be readmitted to membership, unless the Conference instructed them.
