The Federal Arbitration Court lias commenced a bearing of the Auslralian Workers’ Union case against the pnstor.disls. khe Union protested against the appearance of .Mr William Aden (secretary of the Graziers’ Association ot New South Wales) as representative ior a number of respondents, on the grounds that Mr Allen was not a res pondent himself. Air .Justice Rowers staled that, if tiie objection were upheld the case must he adjourned for tlnfe months, in order to allow the 2f>oo respondents to appear before tlio court. Tiie case was alien adjourned until Monday ~ to al cw the Australian Workers' Union lu discuss the position.
