LICENSING POLLS.
INTERVAL MAY BE EXTENDED. WANGANUI, April 8. Mr B- Coyle, president of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association, at a. meeting of the local hotel-keepers to-day, was asked if he thought the “Trade” would have a longer period between polls. .Ho.replied that he thought, tho Government during the coming Parliament would introduce legislation on the basis'of tho 1924 Parliamentary Committee’s recommendations, which included provision for a longer tenure.
