FIRES.
FOUR HORSES PERISH. 8r T«l«iranli —Pre*« A*ioci»M#a. ROTORUA, April 7. Fire destroyed Mr Hickey’s farm buildings at Waiotapu last night. Four draught horses perished. The buildings were very large and contained Implements, harness, much machinery, and forty tons of hay. The loss is approximately £IOOO. The fire is presumed to have been caused by a naked light coming in contact With the hay. The insurances are very small.
