Terrace-, l'.ud station ‘ hist night. one of two men standing at the side ot the track threw a bottle containing liquid ai the driver of the tram, missing in? head by inches. . The bottle struck the upper ledge of the engine cab at the back ot tlie driver Lewin’s head, smashing to pieces on the ironwork. The men were not under the influence of liquor, as they were neon running swiftly away. The : mell of U>" ' --"'•l from the hi.-ltle was somewhat similar to alcohol, ycl not like any alcoholic beverage in appearance. The train at the time of the incident was tYaveiling at about 30 miles nor hour.
