Trebitsch Lincoln, writing 'his memoirs, says after he was released from Parkhurst Prison in 1919, he went to Holland, where he discussed political plans with the ex-Kaiser, who promised Lincoln £500,000 if he regained the throne. Lincoln went to Germany and became associated with the Monarchist plotters. He was commissioned to interview the ex-Crown Prince at Weiringen. He was invited to dinner, hut the invitation was cancelled upon instructions from tho ex-Kaiser’s entourage, who strenuously opposed the ex-Crown Prince taking the throne despite the ex-Kaiser’s willingness to relinquish his claims.
