The warmest Good Friday was experienced this year, since 187 G. The maximum temperature in London was 7 2deg. Fahrenheit, which is the average for July. The sunshine at .lie south coast resorts was almost continuous. The rush to the countryside and seaside was record-breaking, but there was a big attendance at Good Friday concerts in London. Roads were crowded with motor cars.’
