MORE PROMISING OUTLOOK IN SYDNEY. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April 1, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 31. The weather outlook for the races and show, and for the holidays is now more promising. The heavy rain which has fallen during .the last two days has ceased, and further falls arc not anticipated. The city is thronged with interstate and country visitors, and it is expected there will be record attendances at all holiday attractions. At the show to-day the ring events were marred by the sloppy condition of the ground. There were nniny minor accidents, including one competitor in the wood-chopping contest, cutting off two of his toes, with the last stroke with which he won the event.
